Types of data we collect
Cookies are small data files that are read and written by a web browser. If you sign up or log in to an account on this website, we will use a cookie to remember who you are between pages.
Cookies may be disabled, but you will not be able to interact with your website account if you do so. Instructions on how to disable cookies are available in most web browsers.
When someone visits this website, we use a third party service called Google Analytics to collect standard information and details of visitor patterns. We use Google Analytics to track the number of page visits, user sessions, and e-commerce performance. This information is only processed in a way that does not personally identify any one. We do not make, and do not allow, Google to make any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting this website.
We may from time to time send email newsletters. These will only be sent to those who have explicitly consented to be contacted by entering their email address into a subscription form. We collect your email address, and optionally your name, for this purpose. We will never sell our list of subscribers, nor will we rent or trade lists with other organisations and businesses.
We use a third party provider, Campaign Monitor, to deliver email newsletters. We use statistics gathered from Campaign Monitor such as number of email opens and clicks to help us monitor and improve our newsletters. For more information, please see Campaign Monitor’s privacy notice. You can unsubscribe to our newsletters at any time by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link that will be at the bottom of an email or by emailing our data protection officer Martin Bean at [email protected]
When you purchase a ticket (or tickets) through this website your name, email address, and the last four digits of your credit/debit card will be stored. In addition, we will store your address if tickets require being sent via post. Please be assured that we do not share your personal details with any other company without your consent.
We share data with third parties for the purpose of the essential operation of our services only. These third parties are:
- Campaign Monitor. We send Campaign Monitor your name and email address if and only if you subscribe to an email newsletter list. If you update your name or email address on this website, we will also update the name and email address in your subscriber profile in Campaign Monitor.
- Stripe. We use Stripe to process payments. If you purchase tickets or merchandise via this website, your name and email address will be sent to Stripe so we can associate customers with orders. If you update your name or email address on this website, we will also update the name and email address on your customer profile in Stripe.
- Google Analytics. We send your user ID to Google Analytics for the purpose of consolidating sessions, and to track pages views made by authenticated users versus unauthenticated users. It is not possible by Google to identify an individual or view their personal information using this ID alone.
